Discovering Philadelphia and Legoland

On the way to Philadelphia, we crossed through Maryland and Delaware. We first visited the visitor center and made our way to the line for the Liberty Bell. The line was extremely long. It took us about 35 minutes or more to get inside. Finally, when we got inside, they made us go through the metal detector. After we were done with that, we walked to each section to read all the history about the Bell. There were about 5-6 sections of walls with information on them. At last, the Bell was all the way at the end of the hall. It looked old and rusty and aged. It is cool when something is that old; it is very historic. No one knows how the crack happened. After that we went to see Independence Hall which was on the other side of the street. The guide showed us the supreme court and the room where George Washington and all the other state members who signed The Constitution sat. We ended the day by going to Halal Guys and eating falafels with chicken and beef mixed with rice. Then we left the city and went to a hotel closer to Legoland and stayed there for the night. There were fireworks, I think they were for Labor Day.

The next day, it was early for our family, between 7 and 8 am everyone woke up and immediately started getting ready. By 10 am everyone was in the car and ready to go to Ihop, but it was like the Liberty Bell a 40-minute wait, so we went to McDonalds instead. After we ate, we were ready to go to Legoland. Legoland was just twelve minutes away from the McDonalds. This was very impressive because I thought it was going to be another hour drive! When we got to the door that goes into the mall a gigantic Lego Giraffe was outside.
