Back in Boston, I visited numerous locations where I went for my birthday. One of the most exciting activities was the whale watching arranged by the New England Aquarium. During breakfast my mom asked if I wanted to go to both the aquarium and whale-watching because there was a price combo. The only slot available was for 12:00 PM. The time was already 11:15 AM, and it took nearly 40 minutes to get to there. We then quickly called a ride to the aquarium and got ready, but by the time we were ready the GPS was saying we would reach the same time as the cruise left. We happened to make it on time and were the last ones to board. Once we boarded the cruise the captain gave us the information we needed. All three levels of the cruise were packed with people and barely any space to move of the top. But thankfully I got a spot by the railing with a great view. The propeller started making an incredible amount of noise that disturbed the water’s surface in the harbor. Before we knew it, we were on our way to the Stellwagen Sanctuary where every kind of species are welcomed.

An hour in, the captain who was standing atop, and briefed us about the whales and their history with them across the years. Every whale documented has had names like Crisp and Salt. Crisp was in fact a new whale they had to document. We were the first ones to see him. We followed Crisp while getting some amazing shots for about half an hour. The whale had very frequent appearances and was speculated to have been hunting for school fish underneath the surface. Even though there was a massive glare on the blue majestic Atlantic surface, I was still able to get some great pictures like these.
